Brooks Blenheim Engineered Oak Flooring
Blenheim is Brooks' heavyweight engineered oak. The Blenheim Originals boards are 20mm thick with a 6mm French oak wear layer, which is about as close as engineered flooring gets to solid wood. That thick top layer can be sanded back and refinished several times over the life of the floor.
Blenheim Originals
190mm x 1900mm boards in character grade French oak, bevelled on all four sides, in a choice of finishes:
- UV oiled, brushed UV oiled and smoked brushed UV oiled
- satin lacquered, brushed matt lacquered and invisible lacquered, which keeps the look of bare wood
- distressed, hand scraped with a cognac stain
- unfinished, ready to oil or stain on site
- extra rustic UV oiled, with more knots and character
For a cleaner look with fewer knots, there are select grade boards too, UV oiled or unfinished.
For bigger rooms, the Grand Plank boards are 240mm wide and 2200mm long, in UV oiled, brushed UV oiled and unfinished.
Blenheim Traditional
An 18mm board, 150mm wide, with a 3mm oak wear layer and random lengths from 400mm to 1.5m. It suits cottages, period homes and smaller rooms. Choose from natural UV oiled, brushed UV oiled, smoked UV oiled, satin lacquered and stained distressed.
Fitting
All Blenheim boards can be floated, nailed or fully bonded, and the range is suitable for underfloor heating up to 27°C. You'll find matching engineered wood accessories in store.
