Floorify Matching Strip 2000mm (Scotia Alternative)

The Floorify Matching Strip is a flat, self-adhesive strip, 2m long and 18mm wide, that sticks straight to the floor and covers the expansion gap at the wall. It is a low key alternative to a scotia or skirting board, in the same colour and finish as your Floorify floor.

This is a matching accessory, made in the same colour and finish as your Floorify floor. If a Floorify floor is already in your basket, we will match it to your chosen floor automatically. If you are ordering it on its own, just leave a note at checkout with the Floorify colour and finish you need.

Is a matching strip right for your space?

• Look: it hides the expansion joint without changing the look of the wall
• Protection: it gives the wall no protection against a knock from the hoover or furniture, which a skirting board does
• Finish: the wall to floor junction needs to be neatly finished, because the strip will not hide a rough edge
• Use: only in areas that are not walked on. For a floor edge people step over, use the End Profile
• Good for places a skirting cannot go, such as a solid window that runs down to the floor

Fitting

Cut it to length with a sharp Stanley knife, saw or mitre machine. Clean the floor so it is free of dust and grease, then peel off the backing and press the strip into place.
