Brooks Solid Oak Flooring

Solid oak is the traditional choice: every board is oak all the way through, so it can be sanded and refinished many times over its life. Brooks solid oak comes unfinished, which means you choose the final colour and finish once it's laid.

Buckingham solid oak planks

20mm thick rustic grade European oak in random lengths from 400mm to 2.4m, which gives the floor a natural look. The boards have a micro bevel on the long edges and come unsanded and unfilled, ready to finish on site. Choose 160mm or 190mm wide boards.

Solid oak herringbone

22mm thick blocks, 70mm x 280mm, in prime, rustic, rustic tumbled and smoked tumbled. Tumbled blocks have softened edges for an aged, reclaimed look.

Things to know

• Brooks solid oak is bonded down to the subfloor
• It isn't suitable for underfloor heating, so choose Brooks Blenheim engineered oak if you have it. Its 6mm oak wear layer can still be sanded and refinished several times
• It's supplied unfinished, so allow time for sanding and oiling or lacquering after it's laid
