Floorify High Skirting Board 2000mm

The Floorify High Skirting Board is 89mm tall and 2m long, in the same colour and finish as your Floorify floor. It gives a taller, more noticeable edge to the room, which suits higher ceilings where a standard skirting can look a bit lost.

This is a matching accessory, made in the same colour and finish as your Floorify floor. If a Floorify floor is already in your basket, we will match it to your chosen floor automatically. If you are ordering it on its own, just leave a note at checkout with the Floorify colour and finish you need.

Is high skirting right for your room?

Floorify suggest it for rooms taller than 2.5m. Before you order, check:

• Room height: comes into its own in rooms taller than 2.5m
• Furniture: check anything going against the wall allows for a 8.9cm skirting
• Obstructions: look at door and window mouldings, and anything that sits lower than 8.9cm from the floor
• Wall finish: the bottom 8.9cm of the wall will be on show, so it needs to be plastered and finished to that height

Lower ceilings? The Standard Skirting Board is 61mm high and usually a better proportion.

Fitting

Measure and cut the skirting to length with a jigsaw or fixed saw. Mitres can be cut with the same tools or a mitre saw. Fix it to the wall by applying a suitable mounting glue or solid silicone sealant to the MDF backing and pressing it firmly into place.
