Black Oak Mexicano FD30 Fire Door

The Black Oak Mexicano has vertical 8 x 4mm U-grooves for a boarded look, finished in a deep black that lets the oak grain show through.

It arrives finished, ready to hang, and looks good with matt black, chrome or brass handles.

This is the 44mm FD30 fire door, which gives 30 minutes' fire resistance when it's fitted as a complete fire-rated doorset. You'll usually need FD30 doors between a house and an integral garage, and onto the stairs in a three-storey house or loft conversion.

Sizes: 1981mm high and 44mm thick in 610mm (24"), 686mm (27"), 762mm (30") and 838mm (33").

Good to know

• Hang it on three 4" (100mm) fire-rated hinges, in a fire-rated frame with intumescent seals and a self-closer where Building Regulations ask for one.
• You can trim a little off each edge to fit your opening. The spec table shows the maximum.
• Optional extras, added before delivery: intumescent strips grooved and fitted.
