Oak Tuscany Prefinished FD30 Fire Door

Tuscany has five vertical panels separated by 6 x 4mm grooves, on an engineered core with oak veneer. It comes in metric 2040mm sizes as well as the usual imperial ones.

It's factory finished with a clear satin lacquer, so it's ready to hang as soon as it arrives. If you trim it, seal the cut edges with a compatible clear satin lacquer.

This is the 45mm FD30 fire door, which gives 30 minutes' fire resistance when it's fitted as a complete fire-rated doorset. You'll usually need FD30 doors between a house and an integral garage, and onto the stairs in a three-storey house or loft conversion.

Sizes: 1981mm high and 45mm thick in 610mm (24"), 686mm (27"), 762mm (30") and 838mm (33").

Good to know

• Hang it on three 4" (100mm) fire-rated hinges, in a fire-rated frame with intumescent seals and a self-closer where Building Regulations ask for one.
• You can trim a little off each edge to fit your opening. The spec table shows the maximum.
• Optional extras, added before delivery: intumescent strips grooved and fitted or a 12mm rebate to make a pair.
