Trade White Primed 1930 4 Panel FD30 Fire Door

A 1930s-style door: one large upper panel over three slim vertical panels, with moulded detailing around each one.

It's part of the PM Mendes Trade range: a smooth MDF face with a basic white prime, ready for your top coats. It's a good choice when you're doing a whole house on a budget.

This is the 45mm FD30 fire door, which gives 30 minutes' fire resistance when it's fitted as a complete fire-rated doorset. You'll usually need FD30 doors between a house and an integral garage, and onto the stairs in a three-storey house or loft conversion.

Sizes: 1981mm high and 45mm thick in 686mm (27"), 762mm (30") and 838mm (33").

Good to know

• Hang it on three 4" (100mm) fire-rated hinges, in a fire-rated frame with intumescent seals and a self-closer where Building Regulations ask for one.
• You can trim a little off each edge to fit your opening. The spec table shows the maximum.
• Optional extras, added before delivery: painting in any RAL colour or intumescent strips grooved and fitted.
