Ted Todd Classic Futures Engineered Oak Flooring

Classic Futures is Ted Todd's collection of classic oak floors, made to last. Most boards are 20mm thick with a 6mm solid oak wear layer on a two-ply birch core, which leaves plenty of real oak for sanding and refinishing in years to come.

Formats

• Planks: 180mm wide in most colours, plus 140mm in Peckforton and Sherwood, and 160mm in Sherwood
• Extra wide planks: 220mm, in lengths up to 2.2m or 2.4m
• Herringbone: 100mm x 500mm blocks, with smaller 70mm x 490mm blocks in Chislehurst and Glenariff
• Amphora Weave: a geometric parquet in Appleby, Chatsworth and Harlington, each with a matching extra wide plank

Many colours come as both a plank and a herringbone, so you can run the same floor from a herringbone hallway into a plank living room: Kielder, Sherwood, Brampton, Lucia, Santi, Torelli, Rastrelli, Bernini and Alessi.

Finishes

• Hardened oil, for a natural, low sheen look: Brampton, Kielder, Sherwood, Peckforton, Gosford and Kinver Edge
• Satin lacquer: Alessi, Bernini, Lucia, Santi, Rastrelli, Torelli, Thetford, Wyre, Paxton and Twinhills
• Matt lacquer: Appleby, Chatsworth, Harlington and Selborne
• Hardened lacquer: Allexton, Chislehurst and Glenariff
• Pearl lacquer: Dalby

Most colours use nature grade oak, with closed heartwood, irregular grain and occasional sapwood. Selborne is a cleaner prime grade, and Kinver Edge a select grade with sound knots.
