Ted Todd Unfinished Oak Flooring
Unfinished Oaks is raw oak that you finish exactly how you want. The boards arrive with no finish at all, ready to be sanded, stained if you like, and sealed on site with the oil or lacquer of your choice. That makes it the range to choose for matching an existing floor or creating a bespoke colour.
Planks
- Southill: nature grade oak in 180mm planks (15mm or 20mm thick), 220mm and 260mm extra wide planks, and a 300mm super wide plank up to 3m long
- Ashridge: prime grade oak in 180mm and 220mm planks, with a micro bevel or a square shoulder edge, plus a 260mm extra wide plank
Herringbone and chevron
- Engineered herringbone: Odet, Tollense, Neckar and Belvoir
- Solid oak narrow herringbone: Arnon (22mm) and Vienne (20mm), in 250mm, 280mm and 350mm block lengths
- Chevron: Downham (15mm or 20mm), Rhine and Schwarz, a double fumed oak with a deep, dark colour
Versailles and geometric parquet
- Parquet de Versailles: Hermit and Hillstar, 980mm square panels
- Seine: a continuous Versailles pattern laid from individual pieces
- Geometric designs: Avery, Elowen and Shrawley
Things to know
- Most engineered boards are 15mm or 20mm thick, with a 4mm or 6mm oak wear layer
- The engineered floors are suitable for underfloor heating with a Fidbox sensor. Arnon and Vienne are solid oak, so they shouldn't be laid over underfloor heating
- Ted Todd makes the lacquers and oils to finish them, and the adhesives and primers to lay them
