Treatex | Wood Rejuvenator

Untreated timber outdoors turns silvery grey over time, partly through UV bleaching and partly through pollution and biological growth. Treatex Wood Rejuvenator is a non-toxic, solvent-free cleaner that lifts dirt and dead cells from the surface and brings the colour of the wood back. It is based on natural ingredients including fatty acid from coconuts and oxalic acid, the same acid found in rhubarb leaves.

It can be used on hardwood and softwood, including decking, cladding, windows, doors, fences and garden furniture.

How to use it

It works best on dry timber, and out of direct sunlight if possible. Apply a liberal coat with a 2 inch or 6 inch Treatex brush and leave it for a few minutes. Lightly mist the surface with water, scrub vigorously with a stiff brush or broom, and rinse off thoroughly with water. If you use a pressure washer, keep the jet away from the surface, as it can damage the grain. Leave the wood to dry for one to two days before finishing.
