Floorify Standard Skirting Board 2000mm

The Floorify Standard Skirting Board is a colour matched finish for the foot of your walls, 61mm high and 2m long. It covers the expansion gap around the floor and makes the room look finished, with a plain, quiet profile that blends into a Floorify floor.

This is a matching accessory, made in the same colour and finish as your Floorify floor. If a Floorify floor is already in your basket, we will match it to your chosen floor automatically. If you are ordering it on its own, just leave a note at checkout with the Floorify colour and finish you need.

Is standard height right for your room?

Floorify suggest standard skirting for rooms with ceilings of 2.5m or lower. Before you order, check:

• Room height: best for ceilings of 2.5m or lower
• Furniture: check anything going against the wall allows for a 6.1cm skirting
• Obstructions: look at door and window mouldings, and anything that sits lower than 6.1cm from the floor
• Wall finish: the bottom 6.1cm of the wall will be on show, so it needs to be plastered and finished to that height

Fitting

Measure and cut the skirting to length with a jigsaw or fixed saw. Mitres can be cut with the same tools or a mitre saw. Fix it to the wall by applying a suitable mounting glue or solid silicone sealant to the MDF backing and pressing it firmly into place.
