Treatex | Preparation Cleaner

Treatex Preparation Cleaner is a stronger cleaner for worn surfaces finished with Treatex Hardwax Oil. It removes dirt, grease and fat and takes off a small amount of wax, leaving the surface ready to be refreshed or refinished.

Because it strips some wax, it is not for regular cleaning. Use Floor Care for that.

Key facts

• Pack sizes: 250ml and 1L
• Dilution: 50ml in 5 litres of water, or up to 100ml in 5 litres on heavily soiled floors
• Tools: mop, brush, or a buffing machine with a white or red pad
• Drying: at least 3 hours before refreshing or refinishing

How to use it

Scrub the surface with the diluted solution, then rinse with clean water to remove any residue. Keep the wood damp rather than wet and never let it soak. When the floor is fully dry (at least 3 hours), refresh it with Treatex Wax Polish or put on a fresh coat of Hardwax Oil Ultra Clear.
